The Truck Stop Electrification (TSE) Site Locator can search our database of truck stops that have idle reduction equipment and systems for the entire country. The results are displayed in a map with details for each station listed below the map. To begin your search, follow these steps:
For the City search, a map that shows the TSE sites as red triangles will appear with a circle showing the radius search area you indicated. If you zoom in on the map, the radius circle will disappear and the stations will be labeled with the corresponding ID in the table below the map. When doing a State search, a complete list of Truck Stops in the state will appear. Simply select the station you are interested in to see the map of that location.
If you receive a "No locations found" message, click "Back" and change your search parameters. Small towns may not be part of the Streetmap data used by the application. Also, new streets may not be included in the data. For these reasons, the city search is the default, and the radius can be used to increase or decrease the number of stations returned in the search.
The center of the map will be the center of the address, city, or state you indicated in your search. If you search by state, the radius parameter is not used. The map will automatically stretch to the extent of all stations in the state.
NOTE: You should always call any truck stop you plan to visit in advance to verify its location and hours of operation. Some stations in our database may have addresses that could not be located by the TSE Site Locator application. Those stations are displayed in the center of the zip code area of the station. This may result in the station appearing in the wrong location on the map. So always call the station in advance if it doesn't appear to be in the correct location.
Beneath the map is contact information for all truck stops noted on the map. For a printer-friendly version of the list, click Print Table. You may need to adjust your printer options to fit the entire table on the page.
Click the Zoom
button in the table of truck stops to zoom in on the location.
If you entered an Address as your search type, the details below the map will include a Route option next to each truck stop. You may click on Route to map a route from your starting address to that truck stop. The Route option is available with the Address search only.
There is also a Route option that allows you to route your trip from a starting point and an ending point and view all TSE sites on that route. To use this optio, select the "New Route" link under the search box.
